No Limits Snetterton: 3hr Endurance. 2nd Sept 2017.
What an awesome 3hr Endurance Race; Team Misfits #3, Saturday at Round 8 of the 2017 No Limits Series, Snetterton. The team for the weekend was James Chapman, Alan Sainsbury and Andy Booth, with Pit Crew Sam Blackmore and Elaine Brown.
The morning saw us managed to qualify 24th out of 39, which for us, was pretty good especially considering there were some fast riders and good teams. During the team discussion it was decided that James would start the race and what a great start he made! After 1 hour we had dropped back to 26th but with some fast pit stops and change overs thanks to Sam, followed by some fast laps, we had moved up to 22nd at the 2h point. As the race approached it's end we were lying in 25th with a lap to go and Alan put in a flying lap taking two more places. The chequered flag saw us finish 23rd. What a great effort by all the team!

The biggest thanks as always goes out to the Orange Army of Marshals and Medics that take very good care of us and without whom we cannot race. Next Endurance Race will be Round 9 at Croft.
