Snetterton No-Limits Endurance came and went with a drowning and a drying for ARB Racing. Guest content from Gerry Simpson and James Chappers.

Gerry Simpson: “Massive Thanks to Andy Booth for inviting me to be part of ARB Racing / Team Misfits for the weekend. Despite the horrid weather, the sun shone for an hour on us at the end of the race and we all finished up with big grins; 33 out of 48 Teams and well pleased with the result! More importantly, it was a great team effort, including Jamie-Leigh & Fireman Sam who were coerced into Pit-lane duties by the silver tongued Andy. Thank you and congrats on your 2min23Sec lap Andy, in iffy conditions, brilliant! Many thanks to James who didn't drop my weird bike. My race bike (I can say that now) is still in the van covered in Snetterton mud and grass awaiting investigation on what I bent / broke when it ejected me at Murray’s in a most unfriendly way! A few clicks on Ebay, a few hours in the garage and a new lid and it will be sorted for Castle Combe in three weeks. Thanks again all.”

James Chappers: “33rd out of 48 in first endurance race with Andy Booth and Gerry Simpson. We all finished in one piece so job done. Lots of fun, despite the cold and wet and got a few laps of the new bike under my belt in Friday practice. She's going to be awesome!”

Andy Booth: Yay! Great result with one remaining bike after Gerry had an off. Good effort by all. Thanks for help from Sam and Jamie-Leigh muchley appreciated and NLR for organising the weekend and of course the biggest thanks to the Orange Army of Marshals.

Now we’re looking forward to a shiny new frame for the Ducati SS600 and a summer weekend at Dennington with North Gloucester. Thunder storms forecast but we like a bit of warm rain! See you there.
